The flagship program

Earned. is the AO Hoops system — 45 sessions across 5 progressive levels and 15 weeks. It's the answer to the gap most player development never closes: skills that look great in a workout and fall apart in a game. Here, skills, basketball IQ, and mental performance are trained in the same session, in the same drill, against the same pressure — because that's exactly how the game demands them.

The name is the standard. You advance when the level is met. Not before. Every level, every week, every drill has a threshold, and the work decides when you cross it. The full level-by-level breakdown is below.

What's built into every session

  • Scored drills with separate MS / HS / College standards, so the bar matches the level you actually play at
  • An athletic warm-up and recovery protocol every session — the warm-up is the first investment, not the throwaway minutes
  • Solo modifications on every drill, so the work doesn't stop when you're training alone

Who it's for

The athlete who wants development, not a workout. If you want reps, gyms are everywhere. If you want a system that builds a complete player — skills, reads, and mind together — and holds you to a standard until you meet it, this is the track.

The standard

Application-based. Limited spots. If you're ready to work at the level this requires, apply and we'll be in touch within 48 hours. Earned. Not given.

The Curriculum

Five levels, built to stack. You advance when the standard is met. Not before.

5 levels · 15 weeks · 45 sessions

Level 1 · Foundations

Ground

Where every game starts

Available

Mechanics, finish vocabulary, and the pace seed. Arrive on balance. Pick up on time. Load the position. Finish with purpose. Three weeks building the sequence that every other skill in the program sits on top of.

Slow the game down on purpose so it can speed up later.

Level 2 · Read the Floor

Form

The game starts talking back

Coming Soon

Read attachment, the decision tree, off-ball movement, and creation tools. The defense adjusts. You adjust faster. The read system starts here — catch reads, paint reads, and the look-up reflex that connects every finish to the next play.

The ball arrives. The defender is showing you something. Read it.

Level 3 · Stress Test

Flow

The read survives the chaos

Coming Soon

Variable conditions, external constraints, and constraint adaptation. The skills you built in Levels 1 and 2 get tested under five angles, three speeds, and conditions you didn’t choose. The spin finish arrives as the 8th finish type.

The read is the same. The conditions change.

Level 4 · Efficiency

Edge

Every action purposeful

Coming Soon

Compound constraints, fatigue survival, and maximum speed compression. Two dribbles. Five seconds. The first-failure diagnostic reveals whether your game breaks spatially or temporally — and the correction targets the real limiter.

Two dribbles. Five seconds. Every action purposeful.

Coming Soon

Live defenders, possession chains, two-defender reads, and the complete playmaker toolbox. Everything built across 12 weeks runs against real defensive pressure. Solo modifications on every drill. The program closes with the final Strength & Weakness Map.

1-on-1 player development session at AO Hoops

1-on-1 Player Development

Individual sessions built around the exact skills, decisions, and habits holding you back. No template. No group reps. A direct attack on the things between where you are and where you want to be.

Repeatable shooting mechanics work at AO Hoops

The Shooting Lab

A dedicated shooting rebuild — 18 sessions across 2 phases. Seven mechanical checkpoints from the base to the release, then transfer it to catch-and-shoot, off the dribble, contested, and fatigued. Fix the shot, then trust it.

Small group training session at AO Hoops

Small Group Training

3–5 athletes per session. Mixed positions on purpose. Live reps, real consequences, group accountability. The environment skill work alone can't replicate.
